As demand for the sauce increased, the Thomas' hired a company to mass produce the sauce but later decided against this move in order to preserve the good name of Superior Choice rather than compromise its good reputation. In February of 1999, Yvonne and Willie opened their own state-of-the-art production facility just south of Selma where they began producing the superior choice sauce right in their own hometown to keep up with the large demand for their product. Superior Choice is a very versatile sauce and can be delicious used as a marinade, dipping sauce or barbeque sauce. To top that, it's all natural and contains no fat or cholesterol! Try these tasty recipes using Superior Choice All Purpose Sauce: BAKED ALABAMA CATFISH ------------------------------------------- 1 pkg Alabama Catfish Superior Choice All Purpose Sauce 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice ½ Bell Pepper, sliced ½ Tsp. Pepper ½ Onion, Sliced Paprika, to taste Place Alabama Catfish in foil. Add pepper and lemon juice. Lay slices of onions, bell pepper and sprinkle on paprika. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. When fish is baked, pour on thin layer of Superior Choice to add just the right amount of flavor. ALABAMA SHRIMP COCKTAIL

1 ½ lbs. Alabama Wild Shrimp or Alabma inland raised shrimp
½ bottle Superior Choice All Purpose Sauce
2 cloves garlic
Lemon juice
Bay leaf
3 Tbsp Butter
Salt to taste
1 Tsp. Oregano Place Alabama Wild or inland raised shrimp in skillet in melted butter over low heat. Add all other ingredients. Cook in skillet for 5 minutes. Use Superior Choice All Purpose Sauce for dipping. |
