Saw's Sauce!
Saw's Sauce was created from many nights spent around a backyard barbeque pit. Mike "Saw" Wilson started making Saw's Sauce during his days in college at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Mike later went on to receive a degree in culinary arts and now works as a chef for Cooking Light magazine.
Recently featured in the Southern Living Ultimate Grilling Guide for 2007, Saw's Sauce was highlighted as a "must have" sauce for any barbeque. Saw's Sauce is vinegar based, so it is not just a great barbeque sauce, it can also be used for marinating chicken, pork, shrimp and vegetables. Saw's is also great for chili, baked beans, gumbo or meatloaf. And for a little bit of flavor you can use Saw's as a condiment with peas, greens, corn, crab cakes and anything that's fried! By adding Saw's to any of your favorite vegetables and letting them stand for 8 to 24 hours, you can create your own delicious pickled taste. And if you are still not satisfied, mix a small amount of oil into Saw's to create a tasty tangy dressing for salads or slaw. Mike says "after using Saw's you may never need another condiment again." In the near future Mike plans to release a thicker variation of Saw's so be on the lookout for it!
