Conecuh Sausage Company actually had its beginnings as a locker plant for people to store vegetables and meats. Over the years, with the advancement of technology and availability, people began to get their own freezers. This event triggered Conecuh's interest in processing meats and so they began their business with a full line of products such as: wieners, bologna, and red hots. The original founder of the business was Mr. Crum Moore, with his co-founder son-in-law Henry Sessions. After Mr. Henry Sessions passed away, his son John Crum took over and has achieved great success and considerable growth in the business world. Later in 1986, the company built a new facility and decided to progress as a specialty processor of smoked sausage.
